Semantic Engineer
Full-time London or Remote (Europe/US)
The role
We are looking for an outgoing and experienced Semantic Engineer to join our team. You will be consulting for clients that use semantic web technology and knowledge graphs — identifying requirements, implementing solutions using vendor platforms and open source tools, and representing Semantic Partners with its clients.
Responsibilities
- Client consulting on semantic web technology and knowledge graphs
- Identifying requirements and user needs
- Implementing solutions using vendor platforms and open-source tools
- Representing Semantic Partners with its clients
Required technical skills
- RDF, triples, and URI fundamentals
- SPARQL query and update
- SQL and relational databases
- Git source control
- Command-line tools
Advantageous skills
- Commercial knowledge graph development experience
- Triple store platforms (Fuseki, Neptune, Stardog)
- Vendor platforms (Anzo, metaphactory)
- Programming language proficiency
- Code libraries (Jena, RDF4J, RDFLib)
